Counselling Scope Review: Christy Kent

Christy graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work in 2007. A decade in this work has provided her with a strong understanding in mental health, addictions, wellness, and system navigation. In 2015, she returned to the University of Waterloo to increase her skills and obtained her Masters Degree in Social Work.

Christy is trained in solution focused, mindful based trauma therapy techniques. She combines a client-centered, compassionate, and encouraging approach when supporting individuals to achieve their goals.
