Sue Tobin

Clinical Administrator/Nurse Practitioner Lead

Sue Tobin
Sue has been practicing as a Nurse Practitioner since 1999 after graduating from the Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Western Ontario in 1999. Most recently Sue completed her Master of Nursing degree from Athabasca University. Sue also obtained a Certificate in Addiction Studies from UWO, and has completed the Mental Health Certificate Course for Nurse Practitioners. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner Sue worked as a Public Health Nurse and in neonatal intensive care. She graduated from the University of Windsor with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1986. Sue has a passion for working with vulnerable populations and with persons and families struggling with addictions. When not at work Sue spends as much time as possible outside, enjoying hiking with her dog, gardening, camping and exploring all that Canada has to offer.

Stephanie Nevins

Clinic Manager

Stephanie Nevins
Stephanie is an out-going approachable individual with 10 years experience as a partner in Human Resources. She has worked and excelled in a variety of roles such as Business Development, Payroll Administration, Recruitment Consulting and Account Management.
She has been an active board member of the Tillsonburg District Chamber of Commerce since 2014 and is the current Chair of the board. She also serves the Chamber on the Advocacy and the program and events/marketing communication committees.
In the community Stephanie has volunteered with the Tillsonburg Minor Soccer Association, Tillsonburg Minor Hockey, The United Way Day of Caring, as well as the local school snack programs, she is also a parent representative on the Sonbeam Christian Day Care board.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, boating or snowmobiling, participating in community sports, and cheering on her children at their community activities as well.

Brigita Prskalo-Mantz

Nurse Practitioner

Brigita Prskalo-Mantz
Brigita has been a registered nurse since 1994 when she graduated from the Nursing Diploma program at Fanshawe College and shortly after from the Post RN Degree program from the University of Western Ontario. She became Canadian certified in Occupational Health Nursing and worked in a large automotive industry caring for the primary care and occupational health needs of 1,200 employees for 8 years. She become excited about the Nurse Practitioner role and wanted to expand her services to a wider population. As a Nurse Practitioner since 2007, Brigita has worked in Primary Care with a team of physicians, part time in the Emergency Room, and currently with the Ingersoll Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic. She is married with two young children.

Nancy Bradley

Nurse Practitioner

Nancy Bradley
Nancy recently joined the Ingersoll Nurse Practitioner Led Clinic as a primary care Nurse Practitioner, having completed the Master of Nursing/Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Western Ontario. A Registered Nurse since 2006, Nancy has extensive experience in many health care settings, including primary care, cardiac care, emergency care and diabetes. In addition to her NP credentials, Nancy is a Certified Diabetes Educator and is passionate about chronic disease management. Her hobbies outside of work include playing team sports, hiking, and reading.

Lisa DeLuca

Lisa Deluca
Originally from New Brunswick, Lisa spent 5 years working as a clerk with the Emergency Department at the Miramichi Regional Hospital. There she met her husband Dean and they moved with her 3 children to Ontario in 2010 for her husband’s position as a Paramedic Supervisor. Lisa is fluent in French.

Ashley Gasson
Ashley is a graduated PSW and Health Care Office Assistant with over 9 years experience working in a variety of settings and positions including support in nursing homes and within the community as well as a physician’s assistant and receptionist in a number of medical facilities. Ashley is originally from Ingersoll and is so pleased to be working in the community where she was raised.

Carrie Lacroix recently moved to Oxford County with her husband and 2 boys. Knowing that she needed to make some life changes to better herself she returned to school for Medical Office Assistant and has never looked back. Completed schooling in January 2014, graduating with honours and enjoying an internship at the Woodstock and Area Community Health Centre was the start she needed to gain her the experience to join this amazing team here at the Ingersoll Nurse Practitioner-Led clinic as a medical receptionist. One thing she always remembers it that it is never too late to make a positive change.

I graduated with honors from Fanshawe College Medical Administration programme in December 2015. I was looking to make a career change after 11 years with the OLG. I have been here at the clinic since November 2015, I bring many years of quality customer service skills with me. I enjoy traveling, the outdoors and spending time with my family.

Shannon Hutson

Chronic Disease Prevention Coordinator

Shannon Hutson
Shannon is our Chronic Disease Prevention Coordinator. Shannon has been a Registered Practical Nurse for over 20 years. Her career has covered a variety of settings and positions including hospital nursing, outpatient bariactric’s and as a Nurse Manager in the Retirement home setting. Shannon runs our Diabetes Conversations group as well as a Craving Change Workshop. Individual counselling is available for those whom are interested in Smoking cessation or healthier lifestyle changes with weight management. Chronic Disease prevention appointments also fill her day, treating those with Diabetes, Hyperlipedemia and Hypertension. Shannon is a Diabetes Educator through The Michener Institute for Applied Health Science, holds her TEACH certification through the University of Toronto, and is SCOPE certified through the World Obesity Federation.

Kelly McKay

Registered Practical Nurse

Kelly McKay
Kelly has been working as a RPN since 2006. She has had a wide range of experiences including medical surgical acute care nursing, to retirement/nursing home and small doctor’s offices and clinics. In addition to nursing support Kelly does our labwork, spirometry testing, and provides footcare for our diabetics and elderly patients. She also runs the group intake sessions for the clinic.

Nicole MacKinnon

Nicole MacKinnon
Nicole graduated in 2013. She has experience working in medical/palliative nursing, long term care and home care. Nicole is currently working on the impatient mental health unit at Stratford General Hospital as well. She shows interest in pediatrics and maternal child and is taking ongoing training at this time.

Christy Kent

Mental Health and Addictions Counsellor

Christy Kent
Christy graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work in 2007. A decade in this work has provided her with a strong understanding in mental health, addictions, wellness, and system navigation. In 2015, she returned to the University of Waterloo to increase her skills and obtained her Masters Degree in Social Work. Christy is trained in solution focused, mindful based trauma therapy techniques. She combines a client-centered, compassionate, and encouraging approach when supporting individuals to achieve their goals.

Rhonda Heft

Registered Social Worker

Rhonda Heft
Rhonda is a registered social worker with over 16 years experience working with persons living with mental health issues and addictions. Her previous roles have included crisis assessment and counselling, intake for university students, crisis management, leadership of a mobile crisis team, child and youth work and child protection. Rhonda is currently working towards a trauma certificate, mindfulness and has plans to return to the University of Waterloo to complete graduate studies in social work. Rhonda’s counselling approach provides warmth, compassion, and strength based which is helpful in supporting individuals to achieve their wellness goals. Rhonda counsels from a holistic perspective and utilizes skills in cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focus, mindfulness and self compassion.
